The Situation

Services is a full-service station imaging company, working at fuel stations located throughout the service area to install signage and lighting, as well as manage other exterior needs. With 24 employees, the company continues to experience growth and partner with other organizations to accommodate their needs.

Since the company’s employees work at different sites, they required a timekeeping solution that was accessible from anywhere. Astin Adams, Director of Operations at NZI Services, is responsible for the day-to-day business tasks, along with financial decisions for the company as a whole. Although a time and labor solution was in place, she struggled mightily with poor customer service and a lack of responsiveness.

Astin expressed her disapproval with the way things were managed at the previous timekeeping company, as well as the way things were falling through the cracks. She set out to find a better solution, spending about a year on the research process.
